The soup dumplings are small & delicious. You'll want more than 1 order, unless you're only 2 people. The fried tiny buns (while not tiny) are good too. Stir friedstring beans are surprisingly great.
Three dedicated cooks expertly hand-make dumplings from lean pork shoulder daily. Poke a hole in the skin to cool it down or let the soup run out into your spoon, then add the ginger-vinegar. Savor. อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
The "mini" dumplings are anything but mini, but make sure you order the pork soup dumplings and beefpancake with egg; the latter is cooked in plum sauce and is a great balance of sweet and savory.
This 1963-vintage eatery reopened in 2011. Most of it's Shanghai classics remain the same—soup dumplings, crispywhole fish and cold sesame noodles as well as array of dim sum and lunch specials. อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
Amazing! Lost among the throngs of Chinese restos, this hole in the wall aims to please. Come here for lunch and you won't have to worry about to dinner because you'll be stuffed. Prepare to share!
Get the pork shoulder with bok choi. It's a delicious huge family style amount of food for you to share with the table. It's a little sweet, but also delicious.
Get the soup dumplings. Advice-grab a steaming lava temperature dumpling and fill up the white spoon with dumpling sauce and let the dumpling cool in it. Once it's no longer 1000 kelvin - take a bite!
Fantastic food and service. Favorites include (not so) tiny buns, string beans, pan fried noodles, scallion pancakes, sesame chicken, pan fried dumplings, and soup dumplings.
Soup dumplings. GarlicSeaweed. String beans. Orange chicken. Duck. Scallion Pancake. You cannot go wrong here. Waiting for a table takes longer between 7-9. 9 is prime time for getting a table.
Stir-fried dishes are the go to here, & no meal is complete without an order of the xiao long bao. For groups of three or more, consider the massive $15 pork shoulder in honey sauce. [Eater 38 Member]
At this spot you can find fried tiny buns, aka sheng jian bao, which are basically the fried cousin of soup dumplings, but encased in thick, bready shell instead of a delicate steamed wrapper. อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
Shanghainese soup dumplings are a must-order at one of Chinatown's most famous restaurants. For dim sum or dinner, 456 Shanhai offers the best in authentic and affordable dishes.
Loved the soup dumplings and the pan-fried pork dumplings (which also seemed to be full of broth). I don’t know if it was always “New Shanghai” but seems to be all the same.
The pork shoulder in honey sauce is a large serving. Suitable for groups of 4+... Quite yummy. The pork is very, very tender. If you're not handy with chopsticks, you can get cutlery.
xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are incredible- very small and juicy! the fried pork buns are kinda thick and greasy but also pretty good. $18 card minimum.
This is mostly Chinese food for white people. It's acceptable but not great, you can find better in chinatown. Do get the red beanpancake. But The fried turnip is no where as good as joe's shanghai.
Great cold sesame noodles & awesome pork buns. Beef & scallions was solid. Waiter was a little snappy but doesn't matter, makes it more authentic? Great value. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
SO CHEAP. My friends and I paid $9 per person including tip. Pork soup dumplings are good, but on the smaller side. Try the zha jiang mian (black beannoodles).
Skip the overrated soup dumplings. You want the "Tiny" fried buns. They're a steam bun-soup dumpling hybrid of pillowy dough and soupy porky insides that are by no means tiny, in shape or flavor.
Definitely worth it, BUT even though there's a Visa/MasterCard sticker on the door, after I ate they told me there's an $18 minimum charge. The server asked me to tip $6 to make my check $18. No.
