If you need to stay in Times Square, this is the best hotel for the money. Really clean, comfortable rooms and fantastic service. Surprisingly cheap for NYC hotels.

Building is a wonderful space to view art. Stop on floor 3 or 4 and look across the rotunda - you can see all the art on every floor at once, while the people move up and down the ramps.

One of the best chocolate shops in NYC. They do a lot of darker chocolates so not the best place for milk chocolates. The hot chocolate is a must try in the winter but go hungry. It's quite filling.
Get the filet, and the chocolate tasting plate. Roger (the maitre d'/wine buyer) definitely knows what he's talking about!
The building where one of music's greatest icons was tragically shot. Gaze at the amazing architecture and then pay your respects by visiting the nearby memorial at Strawberry Fields in Central Park.
