    It's been more than a year and I still remember how good it was. Went for the mac n' cheese, friend chicken and collard greens... THE (hala) soul food spot to go to while along Atlantic Avenue!

    underrated (7.2?!?!) long-standing black-owned soul food spot with a sort of global twist, located in boerum-hill-or-whatever. started serving food in 2003. opened by banumu turay and yaya ceesay

    Not a big fan of the bbq ribs, but I loved the chicken, mashed potatoes, and rice and gravy. All for $18. Lunch deals till 5pm, definitely would come again to try lamb chops this time

    Awesome greens, mac and cheese, yams! I'm coming back there just to order food for my party! And don't forget them corn bread! Its the best soul food spot in BK.

    This place is Delicioso..I couldn't decide on what I wanted cuz it all looked good . Settled with turkey wings collard greens and Mac & cheese.. YUM YUM!!!

    The Oxtail is simply amazing and as you would expect the fried chicken is on point. Collard greens also delicious.

    Beef ribs appear to have been butchered by a psycho with a chain saw. The BBQ sauce is also far too sweet. Shame really because otherwise the food was awesome.

    Ordered 9 meals with my team at work. Most of us couldn't even finish it the food was so terrible. We all agreed that the fried shrimp and the candied yams were awesome

    False advertisement went out of my way to try this place out with the discount they advertised on four square and the girl at the counter says she can't take it because the manager was not there bull!

    Couldn't chew through the curry goat. The "cabbage" was mostly green peas & corn. Stick to the oxtails.

    This place is ridiculous. Your 1st check-in gets you a 50% off discount. But the dimwit up front won't redeem it bcz the manager isn't there WTF!!! Idiotic policy=No $$$ from me!!

    Avoid the mac and cheese. Overcooked mac and floury cheese sauce lacks any real cheese flavour.
