There is simply no going wrong here. With anything. All of the food is delicious. All of the drinks are tasty, inexpensive & plentiful (BOGO Happy Hours!) & all the seats are awesome, inside & out.
El Chucho has an impressive beverage menu for such a small place, complete with a variety of margaritas, spike-able sodas and a cocktail list that includes the Senor Clusterf*ck and a Blue Hawaiian.
The large open patio is legendary, down stairs is a great hangout, and upstairs parties hard, with live music, karaoke or a Dj. You can't not find something you like here. Hipster haters beware

Speakeasy minus the dark paneled wood and bow tied bartenders. They limit attendance - which means actual conversations without yelling. Get their punch du jour!
Since moving to the East Coast, I've missed the beautiful simplicity of Midwestern bars. Ivy and Coney fills that void- cheap beer in a can, Chicago-style hot dogs, and Detroit/Chicago sports on TV.

Popcorn, pinball, vintage cameras, a high bar, and a great jukebox all make for a cool place to hang with friends. As of right now, there are no TVs-- a nice change of pace.
