Ros Hodgekiss: The $20 set menu is a surprise each night, but you can count on it being 4 full courses of awesome.

Ros Hodgekiss: Good tunes and lots of hot drunk folks on the sidewalk at 2am on a school night. Party on, Wayne!

Ros Hodgekiss: James at the bar sure makes folks happy here. Don't forget to add inappropriate jams to the jukebox on his behalf.

Ros Hodgekiss: Old-style sandwiches, snacks and sodas, without the excess of Wise Sons down the road. Get a booth and go back thirty years.

Ros Hodgekiss: Cornhole and shuffle board! Need I say more?

Ros Hodgekiss: The chilli wings here are devastating. I'm sure they firebombed cities with them once.

Ros Hodgekiss: Pick a beach and let the 'treats' / choco tacos / "Cold beer! Cold water!" come to you.

Ros Hodgekiss: Balsamic strawberry ice cream. Lavender ice cream. "What the heck could that taste like?!" ice cream. If you like unpredictable, you'll love Bi-Rite.

Ros Hodgekiss: You can't go past the Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream. Or any of the other flavours, for that matter. Or the fact that each scoop is the size of a prize-winning pumpkin.

Ros Hodgekiss: A great spot to wind down after big night - big plates of Tex-Mex and a red interior that is unbearably Twin Peaks -like when you're drunk.

Ros Hodgekiss: A sandwich, a bottle of Bundaberg ginger beer and their courtyard on a sunny day makes for a peaceful lunch. Great spot to reclaim a little sanity.

Ros Hodgekiss: Don't skip on the sage fries. Go ahead, I won't call you fat afterwards.

Ros Hodgekiss: The most lavish freshly-made banh mi you will likely ever have, for only $5.

Ros Hodgekiss: The beef brisket and all the fixins! Fantastic BBQ, but the fried chicken and game hen are a bit on the dry side.
