Kinda like the coffee here. Latte is RM11 for cup, and RM14 for mug. Good selection of cakes and pastries. Strawberry croissant and dirty bun looks interesting. Chairs are kid-sized!
Old style Catholic church dating back to 1848. Check out the grotto with a statue of the Visitation, and Our Lady of Lourdes. English, Chinese, Tamil, and BM masses available.
Huge floor space. Food is quite delicious, cheep, with generous portions. Try the chicken with Chinese rice wine, yam basket with spicy cuttlefish, and blanched chicken.
TCM consultation is now RM15. Two portions of herbs generally cost RM50+. DIY.
Serai platter is delicious - white rice with honey squid (battered and deep fried), ayam goreng berempah, oxtail asam pedas (love the sweet and thick gravy, tender meat). Suitable to share.
Fantastic mixed pork soup. The soup is clear and there's no unpleasant offal smell or taste. You can refill the soup too. Don't bother with the blanched chicken. Below average.
Mee Siam is good. Nyonya laksa is thick and spicy. Popiah skin is thick like kuih ketayap. Ayam goreng kunyit, bendeh sambal pretty nice. Cendol is mostly the taste of gula Melaka. Can pay with Boost.
Unagi and unajyu specialist. Freshly-grilled from live eels sources from Japan. Kabayaki or Hitsumabushi style (RM183 and RM126). Also unagi liver soup, deep-fried unagi bone, and grilled unagi liver.
Mee Sup here is pretty good. Lotsa vegetables, meat, and seafood. Decent teh tarik.
A 3-shoplot restaurant that serves good food. Pretty crowded so expect a bit of drama with the tables. Try the crispy pork belly and steamed fish with spicy bean paste.

Great place to shop. Many shops (arcade style). Variety of drug stores (several large Sapporo Drug Stores and Kokumin which hire Chinese-speaking staff), used item shops, restaurants, souvenir shops.
Hidden in a neighbourhood near Hakodate Park, this place serves great sushi. Run by a friendly couple (the wife can communicate using English). Limited seating. Just 3 tables and a small counter.
Good place for omu rice with black curry. Paired with local milk and sausage. Excellent, heart, and thick curry. Try the Hamburg too with its cooking-wine spiked sauce. Very friendly service staff.
Pork chop is delicious. Very tender and juicy. Curry udon with katsu is also interesting. The ginger pork slices are also fantastic.
A nasi lemak specialty shop. The rice is creamy and the grain 'blooms'. Sambal and curry chicken is good. Roti jala, nasi kunyit and mee Siam is also aavailabl. Also have a variety of kuih here.
Casual place to have plenty of pork. The pork belly with chutney is divine. So fatty yet so good. The salad kerabu perfect. Mussels with white sauce is also good, with bread to mop up the sauce
Great place for Japanese designed lifestyle products. Check out workshops by the artists on their FB page. There's also a decent café inside serving coffee, tea, and cakes. RM10 for a coffee.
Love the beef noodles and shrimp dumplings set. The beef had a great texture and taste. Noodles were springy. Shrimp dumplings also fresh. A satisfying meal for roughly HKD90.
Please make a booking during weekends, it's usually very packed. Tried their signature steamed tilapia. Good taste, but a little oily. Good meat texture. The claypot tofu used home-made tofu.
Simple decoration, bright cafe. Rusty latte and green tea tiramisu shake is quite good. Army cake for chocolatey goodness.
