Bartenders are rad. Get the bloody bull with your fried chicken n waffles.
Without a doubt the best steak in the Graham ave/ lorimer area (not counting Luger).

this place have the funniest collection of coffee mugs ever. Great apple Johnny cakes, awesome bacon. Pretty bad coffee (sigh).
