Brian Searlเมษายน 20, 2013A smaller zoo that still offers quite a few things to see. Allow half a day to see the entire zoo, longer if you stay for shows or summer events. Brand new Africa exhibit opened recently.

Plus go "behind the scenes" of the primate exhibits with reptiles & meerkats (my fave)!
Rochester NYมีนาคม 14, 2012Become a member and visit all year round. The animals are livelier in the mornings around 10AM or so... near feeding time.
HISTORYสิงหาคม 9, 2010In 1893 the park opened to the public as a recreational park, but by 1894 the first animals were seen in the lower portion of the park, where guests could find birds, trout and deer.

If you're 21+ hit up the Zoo Brew! Takes place one Friday night a month during the summer. It's awesome!
wonderful smaller zoo, great place to get up close to animals. Nice prices too.

Do NOT park on perimeter of lot- my car was broken into and zoo staff said "this happens all the time" - since then I make it a point to park in middle.
