Lovely zoo! Worth every bit of the Safari Pass and then some!! Chicken nuggets and strips at East Refreshment are delicious.

An all day event..plenty of animals...events and great gift shops. You can even take in you own food and beverage.

It's free! Bring your own picnic lunch and make a day of it. Plenty of places to sit and eat!

Penguins, Lions, Gorillas, Stingrays, Elephants, Bears, Polar bears, Snakes, Flamingos, Tigers, Tortoise, Rhinos, Giraffes, so many to look at it!! I loved it!!

A safari pass is well worth the $10 cost if you plan to hit some of the activities which cost extra, like the train, carousel, motion ride, and children's area.

don't go on weekends with Marathons! Traffic is horrible! but the zoo is definitely worth it! Kids loved it!

Check out the new sting ray exhibit! You can pet the sting rays and sharks and feed the sting rays!

Get to the zoo when it opens the free parking is close by and all the pay to visit things like the children's area and the stingrays are free.

Very cool: no entrance fee! Very close to St. Louis Art Museum. Could easily spend a while day at these 2 places.

Make sure to go see the elephants at River's edge early. They put all the animals away a half hour early sometimes.

After checking out the penguins, your child will love going down the clear glass tube that crosses the river-otter exhibit, giving him a nose-to-nose view.

Not the best zoo in the country. Few animals. Tons of concessions. It may be free but that's because you have to pay for everything inside separately. More lines and more money. And few animals.
