    Breast pieces were dry. Not best fried chicken in town. Service wasn’t great either during quiet weekday.

    There's better southern food places but the must get here is: baked beans, biscuits, grits. Chicken + waffles is nothing special

    The wait was extremely long. I Was told 20-25 mins and it ended up be 1 hour before being seated. I’ve been here before. Ended up being 90 mins before getting food and drinks.

    Chicken is decent, salty at best. Collards are really good, lots of flavor. Some of the better biscuits had. Grits average. Prices though? Expensive! For no reason. Service was annoying and hipster-y.

    Three and a half hour wait for delivery of cold, tasteless food. I could have been to Mordor and back in that time! Won't be getting my business again anytime soon. Back to the Prancing Pony it is.

    Fried chicken is good, but can be uneven. (As in barely seasoned or overcooked.) But if you're drunk, that won't matter. The chicken on a biscuit is an excellent sponge for booze.

Pies ’n’ Thighs started in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken.
