Nora Selmeczi: The courtyard and the lobby is open for everyone and it's beautiful and tranquil inside. If you want to know more, book one of the guided tours (also available in English, but not at all times)
Nora Selmeczi: don't miss this steampunkish marvel, and take a good look at the murals of local wildlife, like the rats gnawing at a rotting boot. it's lovely!
Nora Selmeczi: One of the ugliest squares you can find anywhere in Germany. The night market is cute, though, and the annual food truck festival is also worth a visit
Nora Selmeczi: the overcrowded party 'hood, where you'll meet exactly the same people every single time queueing for exactly the same drink everyone else is drinking. how original!
Nora Selmeczi: Drop in for a quite nice espresso or beans or a piece of cake. This joint of Elbgold is the quick solution for your caffeine needs, a block further down Mühlenkamp they have a bigger, brighter shop
Nora Selmeczi: The weekly market and the flea market are nice, but tend to be very crowded. They organize most of the events around different themes though, with workshops, special guests and the like
Nora Selmeczi: Beautiful interior, gorgeous food and a daring, all-encompassing wine selection. Bread, butter, and cheese are to die for. Somewhat pricy, but so so sooo worth it.
