It's all really good here. Staff is really friendly and will share their faves. We ate the bush mans brunch with a side of fried sourdough bread and it was yummy. (But not even close to low calorie).
Everything. The burgers big, the rice delish, the prawns massive & the selection of S.African wine perfection. Very much a neighborhood place with a lively bunch of regulars but everyone feels at home
Brunch was decent. We didn't venture too deep in the menu this time, but there are some great curry items I hope to try in the future. Get the pitcher of Obama Mama. You won't regret it
This place is awesome. A little unorganized when I was there but cool decor and best samies ever. Get the Vetkoek samie if you like mango chutney and pair it with a South African brew.
The grilled Calamari appetizer will make you question why you every liked it fried. Then try the flavorful Beryani with lamb, which makes your tastebuds dance and top it off with the Bread Pudding.
Come before 20:00 and then get the chicken wings and samosas as appetizers, and then as mains the Bobotie and the Baby Back Ribs with monkey gland sauce are out of this world. อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
Madiba is a staple in the BK community located in Ft. Greene. Gives u the feeling of visiting your favorite cousin's home. Great selection of SA wines & phenomenal food! Great w/friends or a date!
It's not cheap, but the food and cocktails are tasty, the atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Overall, a pretty great spot!
I walk by this restaurant often and it seems to always be busy. Now i know why. The vegetable curry served with beryani rice was tasty. The restaurant has many vegetarian options. We will back!
Went for second time & food was again delightful! I had lobster tail w/saffron rice in a sweet chutney + an Obama Mama rum drink (mmmm). My companion had a lamb curry w/tasting palette. Also delish.
They brought Bobotie to Choice Eats- traditional Cape May curried mince bake (meatloaf) with an egg custard tuppine & shaved almonds. Served with yellow rice and raisins, complimented with sambas. It
Taste - Ostrich carpaccio; chiken livers peri-peri; safari platter (cured, dried, salted meat with nuts and fruit); potjie bredie. Note: The name "Madiba" pays homage to Nelson Mandela. อ่านข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม
We always get the Curry Durban or Roti, its <insert expletive> amazing! Havent been terribly impressed with anything else on the menu, but still go back again and again just for the curry.
The interior of this restaurant is lovely but the food is so-so and the cocktails are not interesting nor even good. Restaurant is only worth coming to say you've been to a South African restaurant.
