New carry-on only security check on the lower (arrivals) level of T4 is nice and fast. On the right hand side if you’re facing the arrivals doors (and staff don’t seem to know yet where it is).โหวตขึ้น Apr 8
The JetBlue terminal is my favorite! Grab a large coffee from Starbucks to make the wait for your flight that much more pleasant.Check out the gift shops & bookstores & do some shopping.
Brooklyn Deli by gate 38 is very unassuming from the outside, but pretty damn good. I quietly scoffed at the $12 charge for my Philly Cheesesteak with Avocado and Jalapeños...until my first bite.
Probably one of the busiest airports in the planet, fear not if you are late for your flight they will make sure you have your own security line, I have been from entrance to gate in 35mins.
Nice job on the Delta Sky Club outdoor lounge area. Make sure you check it out as it is a bit over to the side. Quite fashionable.

T4 has new security system at Pre Check: bins slide to the side if they need extra attention so you don't get caught behind Edna & her 13 bottles of liquid. Consider going to T2 & taking shuttle.

Nice airport, if you are coming on ESTA and its not your first time, you will be in line with US-citizens, so no 1-hour waiting, it takes like 10 mins. max. Also there is no free WIFI.
May A.มิถุนายน 22, 2018You have to input your personal passport details & picture taken on a computer kiosk before lining up to immigration. Make sure you scan your passport well by sliding it fully inside the scanner.
Arrive early and visit the new TWA Hotel. You can even rent a room for a half day if you have a long layover. Head to the pool deck to see planes arriving and taking off while enjoying a cocktail.

Muratกรกฎาคม 17, 20179 terminals, and where US welcomes you. Chech in could be busy, security always has long lines, but staff is very helpful to make it as passenger friendly as possible. Metro (line A) is available.
If your gate number is 1-8, your walk is quite quick (5min), but if it’s more, be prepared for 15min walk. Lounge in both areas.
Any #airplane flight is awesome if you listen to these 7 bands during flight: #ELO, Allman Brothers, #Squeeze, Guess Who, Steely Dan, #Bangles, and ZZ Top. That's the combo for #happiness.
Terminal B (Delta's Terminal) Gates 20-25 area has great seating, lighting and even personal iPads for each seat's passenger to enjoy. A great place to get work done if you have time.

Still trying to discover what’s the cheapest way (Uber/ Lyft/ yellow cab) to get to and from the airport-Manhattan. Beware landing late at night! Uber and Lyft rates skyrocket up to $250!!

The only filtered water station in Terminal 5 is between Gates 27 and 28.

Cheapest way to get to JFK: With a metrocard, take the 3 (or 4 sometimes) train to New Lots stop. Take the B15 to Terminal 4. If needed, take AirTrain for free to other terminals. You're welcome.

jetBlue has the nicest terminal at JFK (T5). You can also find the TWA Hotel at T5. Arrange pick up at Lefferts Blvd for easier access.
Dan Krollสิงหาคม 29, 2014As a solo traveler I found it very easy to get there by the airtrain/subway, self-checked in with only carry-on, and the line wasnt too bad even on a long holiday weekend on friday afternoon.
Absolute mad house the passanger pickup in this place. However you can always play hide and seek with the security by stopong where the groups are bt the road and coordinate qith the passanger.
Terminal 5: Muji to go is super helpful for picking up last minute travel size cosmetics and it's super cheap!
Deep Blue (Terminal 5) is the absolute best Sushi you can have at any airport. Try it if you are flying with Jet Blue.
Restaurants at JFK are above average for airport food-you have a lot to choose from (french,sushi,tapas,pizza and baked by Melissa cupcakes)
JetBlue has the easiest to navigate, not to mention the cleanest and well-designed terminal at JFK. They are the best airline by far.
