I don't know if it's better than Momofuku, but the wait sure is longer.
If you're going by yourself at weird times, it's not hard to get seated right away.
Shiromaru Hakata Classic is seriously crack. Try going during lunch hour to avoid ridiculous waiting times (1 1/2- 2 hours)

A few on the usually gracious server staff are rude today 3/29/12. Perhaps after a post-lunch break, they'll be ok at dinner. (I was asked repeatedly if I was done, even as those w/no food were not.)

Don't show up at 11 because a waitress will say that the whole staff is drunk and they don't have shisito peppers even though your server promised they did.
