I can't think of a better place for a layover. Plenty of slots to keep you busy as you wait for your next flight.
The Manager at Corocans by Gate C1 watches you on her remote video camera and makes you buy a drink every 45 minutes or she has the bartender kick you out even if it is empty. Very Creepy

Aundrea Azziมิถุนายน 6, 2013Don't stop at the Bose booth or you will get suckered in to buying something!! But it's probably worth it lol- Taxi drivers are very uneducated. Take you to the place further. And you obliged to give a 30% tip.
After 9pm, if you need to go to a faraway hotel, take TAXI instead of TOWN CAR with a driver, ignoring the advice at the Info Desk. Those drivers will charge you for at least 1,5 hrs. Taxi is cheaper!

TSA is friendlier here than most airports I've traveled, be nice to them.
If you enjoy plane spotting and snappin pix of the planes on approach go to town square and check it out. Amazing shots!

Dress light and wear little metal. If you don't need a carry on, don't bring it. Universal air travel tips, but makes getting through LAS much easier. You quick access to baggage, take the tram.
When you land it's customary to shout out "VEGAS BABY! WE ARE IN VEGAS!!! WOO HOO!" The locals returning from vacation love it.

Uber / Lyft pickup is far from the terminals - so book an Uber a few minutes before you arrive at the pickup zone to avoid waiting in crowds.
If you have a long layover, I suggest not staying in C Terminal. The terminal actually vibrates which can cause headaches if you plan on reading or working on a laptop.
This airport sure knows how to make it quick and easy to go through TSA.

It's a party plane coming out here but on Sunday or Monday its a different story! I wonder why?????
