Shelter on side to Wolverhampton. No seating on side to Edgbaston. Can get a decent seat on the tram from here.
Station has been rebuilt with new building but the 1960s Grade II listed building remains. Area outside transformed to Friargate development. Taxi rank moved. Bus stops nearby. Easy walk to centre.
Good for Odeon Luxe and Costa. Close to Ladywood Middleway and local bus routes. Will be accessible by tram soon. Quiet in the morning and midday.
On Bank Holiday's main car park gets full. So park your car in the town centre and get a free shuttle bus to the castle! The Castle itself is nice, ruined after Civil War. Elizabethan garden was ok
Closed on Monday's, open on other days. Believe you have to pay if you want to enter mill, but grounds, and cafe are free entrance (I think). Recently restored again. On 11A / 11C / 5 bus routes.
Quiet coffee shop on New hall Street now next door to 103 Colmore Row. They bring your coffee and food to your table. Free WiFi. Friendly staff.
New station rebuild as of 2023 isn't complete. Platforms curved and really long. Ticket gates in the old 1970s station building. But of a gap to the train when boarding due to the curved platforms.
The nice manager lady is also at Bullring Link Street. Formerly of the now closed down store at Temple Row West / Waterloo Street. Cloud WiFi. Near gates 6a to 12a at New Street Station.
