    Everyone was very hospitable and congratulatory. They remembered our names and sat us in a timely manner. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time. A week night dinner is very reasonable.

    You can't go wrong at Donovan's. Both their fine dining establishments in La Jolla and in the Gaslamp are top-shelf, "prime" places for steak. Prime Steak in San Diego = Donovan's.

    Best damn steak (ribeye) I've ever had - including the sides. The service was perfect - very attentive. We split the creme brûlée (served with strawberries).

    If you want an incredible prime steak, this is the place to go! Donovan’s offers a complimentary limo service to and from our hotel. Talk to the front desk to arrange reservations.

    A little steep, but very good steaks. Not your value-for-money joint I'd go every week but definitely somewhere to go for special occasions.
