    Probably the most annoying we've ever been to restaurant staff. We requested to move outside then inside again after realising it was too hot. They were lovely and understanding. Get a Don Plato.

    Happy hour is a good deal. Most tacos are $2 and drinks are $3 to $5. Cactus tacos are awesome. Be sure to get the salsa trio. The tomatillo salsa is great.

    The tomatillo tortilla soup is incredibly delicious - it's hearty and has a great spicy (but not overwhelming) kick to it, the tomatillos add a nice layer of flavor as well

    The Don Pepino cocktail is refreshing and tasty, and the churros are a must-eat. Seriously. You must eat them.

    Brunch is a great deal, $11 a plate plus $3 drink specials. The jalapeno hollandaise on my eggs was worth the meal alone! Good guac too.

    Guac, cheese tamales, tacos and the Vera Cruz fish is amazing (pretty big so could be a good sharing plate) can't go wrong with a few margaritas. Yum.

    The Don Pepino (cucumber, cilantro, tajin) is pretty great. Like a spicy cucumber green apple jolly rancher--I know that sounds fucking weird, but it works).

    If you're a meat-lover get the bistec off the brunch menu. Forget about the egg dishes!

    If you are really hungry and want a large portion size order the "Plato Don" plates - it's about $16 and its enough food to feed 3 people.

    Delicious, fresh and simple Mexican. Order the chili relleno it's amazing! Also, tap sangria is awesome.

    Fantastic service, great brunch options, strong margaritas. I loved the poached eggs with Mexican style hash browns and brown rice.

    As others have said, the happy hour tacos (I recommend the steak and the pork) and margaritas are great value.

    This is one of the best Mexican places I've ever been to. Get their fish with the banana leaf umbrella over it. You can thank me later.

    Try the vegetarian platter - it's huge (one hungry person or two medium hungry people) and delicious! Also try the margaritas on tap.

    Great restaurant, great good, great staff, but incredibly loud music. Sadly to be avoided if you don't want to have to shout.

    Lots of people don't like to mix mole and tacos. I am not one of those people, and this place gets it. Decor is fun, too.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants ever! Everything on the menu is amazing. Get the taquitos and black bean soup

    Try the Elotes Callejeros - Grilled corn with chipotle mayo, cotija cheese and seasonings. Best damn grilled corn I've *ever* eaten. Ever.

    Really cool interior. Margaritas were too sweet. El Plato don is fucking killer. One of my favorite places in the neighborhood.

    Maybe I went on an off night? Crowded/close tables, friendly staff, short wait. Margarita clásica tasted watered down. Appetizer & entree were drowned in oil/sauce. Sides & dessert were good, though.

    It's good and not expensive. But don't accept guacamole it is not free ($7,50). A bit noisy but super friendly.

    Try the Bistec Taco And Chipotle Chicken Taco - Bistec taco was outstanding. Chicken was tasty but man the bistec was just so good it outshined the chicken.

    The black bean soup is amazingly good. Quesadillas come with a yummy smoky sauce. And the Isla Bonita is a great cocktail.
