    Really is a superb zoo. Been twice now and they are continually developing and improving it. Open and well thought out.

    Great zoo, been to many, this one is really well done. Really close to the animals and make sure you visit the rooms, especially the ape one.

    BaselBuzz TOP Basel Downtown sight. w/ 2mio visitors/year, this is Basel's #1 attraction w/ an entrance fee. Best exhibits: rhinos, Gamgoas, Etoscha, monkey house, Vivarium, and Africa. 2 restaurants.

    Quite sight to see a lot of different animals. Sea lions show is quite good. Absolutely visit the Lion's habitat to see the Lion in all its majesty. Aquarium is worth a dekko!

    “Zoologischer Garden”: not just a zoo with thoughtfully developed habitats but also lovely old park with shady trees and winding paths - a peaceful oasis perfect for short or long visits.

    Some of the animals have a tight space (e.g. wolf, antelope) but on the whole the Zoo is a great place to look into the heart of nature & chill out

    Excellent zoo, always fun to be here. Sometimes Parking is full, but one can park in the nearby Parkhaus. Also, best is to come via tram.

    Lots of enclosures have windows installed so you can get very close to the animals. We had a great time!

    Wonderful place, be sure to check the time of the shows as they are short. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, the reminders about noise and feeding. Definitely a haven für Tiere =)

    Le tarif "Famille" est discriminatoire : il ne s'applique qu'AUX PARENTS+leur enfant. Parent seul+grand parent +enfant exclu alors que c'est aussi une famille...dommage car le parc est très beau !

    Зоопарк не очень большой, можно полностью обойти часа за два не спеша и с остановками. Но много интересных животных: пингвины, бегемоты, носороги, белые волки.
