Great views from the 7th floor, where there's also a buffet bar (a La Place Express). Lots of places to sit with your PC or read a book (wifi is not free, tough, 1€ per 30 min)
Very nice pizzas, with thin base and fresh ingredients. The pizza of the month is changed periocadilly, and it's worth a check! (August 15 one has zucchini, some panceta, pesto, and is really good)
Awesome park, even bigger than Vondelpark, in the former premises of a gas processing factory. They preserve some of the buildings for cafes and restaurants, and there's lot of natural to walk or bike
Not very big but very interesting. Get the free mobile app in the museum wifi and enjoy the long explanations about the paintings and its importance in the historic context. Museumkaart accepted.
Very nice sport complex, with football fields, athletism tracks... The track is soft and nice to run in, and the football has great artificial grass surface.
Awesome forest, like an enormous park, with beautiful paths, some lakes, lots of trees... Great place to get lost and disconnect from the city.

Very nice polder windmill, hybrid, still in use. It combines the wind power with electricity (when not enough wind) to regulate the water level.And all that, while being in a beautiful landscape!
Very nice square with scenic views and very nice buildings around.At 30s and the full hours the clock will have a song with the figures moving. The cheese market is also celebrated there.
Nice festival with very familiar vibe. Beautiful place, not too crowded, and not long queues for food or the toilets. The only complain is that getting by public transport is not too easy!

Dutch shops, kind of an IKEA for cheap house stuff, some food and random things. Good price and fun product selection, I like browsing the stuff they have from time to time. Try the foods!
Many nice food choices, a little bit expensive in general. Can get too crowded - avoid it in afterwork moments. Usually you won't find place to sit and you will have to eat standing.
Very nice terrace next to the canal with good music selection. They have a foosball table and a pool table. And toilet is free.
Very nice brewery with several beers made by them at good price (like 2-3€). And it's on a mill! Oh, try the Zatte!
