    Home of the fried clam strip! They're yummy and hard to get outside New England. Really, the best casual food on the North Shore. Make this your meal spot if you're going to visit nearby Castle Hill.

    One of the best lobster rolls we have tried!!! Also, following other comments, we tried the fried clams which are great. But you must be aware of the large lines.

    every tourist thinks that Woodmans is the place to go to for great seafood. But if you are from Ipswich or close by you know that JT Farnham's is the place to go!

    If it's not to busy ask if they can do the onion rings gluten free. Amazing, delicious treat (on top of their fantastic GF menu)

    If you're allergic to dairy, they can also make all the fried items (except fries/onion rings) with coconut milk and it tastes amazing!

    Scallops were excellent and not at all greasy, but we were unable to sit outside under the big tent on a gorgeous day because the place was swarming with bees!!

    Portions are huge here, and it's all good. If you're with a group, order a few different entrees and some chowders and go 'Family Style'. Fried Clams are a MUST TRY!

    Sit and eat on the Top Deck. Order downstairs and head up when yourfood is ready. You can get your beers and enjoy a cool breeze instead of hanging by the fryers!

    Their fries, onion rings, etc are fried in lard and thus not vegetarian. But I doubt many vegetarians are going to Woodman's anyway.
