Lynea Davenportพฤศจิกายน 16, 2013Smaller but more one-on-one with the animals compared to the PHX Zoo. You can get up close to everything, wear comfortable shoes & make sure you take the "ski-lift" to view the site of the whole zoo.

Definitely the best zoo in Arizona. All the animals are up close and easy to see. It's definitely an all day activity, so bring water!

The zoo itself is enjoyable; downsides are disgruntled, unpleasant employees & the fact that they don't honor Veterans/Military discount unless you're affiliated with Luke Air Force Base.
