Go for the first show and bring a lot of bills! Go early (around 8/8:30) if you want to get a table. It's a lot of fun and surprisingly great for dates.
Always good shows! Pay for first show then stay for the next. Thursday night regular Wiggle Room also fab! The wine in the bar is disappointing though, it's worthwhile sneaking your own for top-ups...
The birthplace of burly-Q in NYC has finally got a brand new home! Check out the amazing performers every night of the week, although we're partial to Saturdays with The Evil Hate Monkey.
Came here for the midnight show performance. Funny host and acts. Talented burlesque and cirque artperformances. Not too crowded albeit limited seating. For $10 its a great deal!
My all around favorite venue in New York City. Burlesque, comedy, romance... You can find them all at this place. I share this place with all the people I love deeply.
STRONG DRINKS! Entertainment that is hysterical and quality as far as the performers are concerned - saw the Harry Potter show - though I wish their main / intermission dancer didn't try to twerk.
Swing by The Slipper Room to peep the regular rotation of burlesque acts stripping down to the bare essentials. This cozylounge hosts regular concept events such as Glitter Gutter.
Watch for the original Slipper Room, doing duty as the venue for Pete Campbell's bachelor party, in the Mad Men pilot episode, "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes"
Wednesday nights are your best shot for a not insanely packed burlesque show. Tip the gogo girls and the bartenders-- nicest group of folks in the world!
Get there early I guess? Totally oversold room, paid $15 per ticket and left after 20 minutes: no place to stand, couldn't possibly get to the bar, couldn't see anything, smelled awful.
