Nice staff awesome layout-terrible coffee. After the hype my expectations where high. I thought ordering a cappuccino might make the flavours a bit stronger- given more space is taken by foam-Nope.

Ditch St Ali, I'd make the trek to South Yarra from South Melbourne any day. The staff is friendly (never without a smile!), food is great and coffee doesn't disappoint.

Paul & Ingo best head chefs, watch him work right before ur eyes in the open plan ol' style kitchen. Being the sister to the boutique coffeehouse St.Ali don't forget to indulge in fine roasted coffee!

Waited 30min (only8 ppl in store).Tells staff yet,still forgets n give our meal to later customers.Sandwich comes w/cos lettuce & caramlised onion on menu. Instead had iceberg lettuce & prple cabbage

Possibly the worst brunch I've had in Melbourne. Forgetful waitress, food took a long time, toast was soggy and bacon wasn't cooked well. Coffee was average. Nice fit out though.

The food is soo good. Try the penne pasta or prawn linguine when they have it.

The salmon, asparagus breakfast which I just finished, was a completely amazing experience!

Avoid if possible. Better off going to Picnic or Lawson Grove.

Steer clear. Place was sold and no longer associated with st ali. Terrible!
