    In short, Cali-style Houston's. Grilled artichokes are bomb. Corn bread is delish but app is overkill. Get a slice for $2. IMO, Macho salad was blah. Go for ribs;) no corkage fees=byob/w/l

    Cornbread skillet is a must. The chicken Cobb salad is delish but the white meat chicken was less than prime rotisserie quality (more fast food chicken). Good service. Overall, ok eats for the area.

    You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very good basic American food, active, ambient lighting, cozy booths, generous drinks and food, and friendly service.

    LOVE this place. The cheese dip, grilled artichoke, & skillet of cornbread are AWESOME!! The filet is amazing , cooked to perfect. Great martinis and good wine. 👍❤️❤️

    Must have the cornbread! The whole thing is good but the crunchy part on top is the best! Surprise - there's jalapenos inside!

    Whether it's your first time or a regular visit, I'd recommend trying the cornbread. The cornbread is warm, moist, and delicious with the added jalapeno peppers.

    The fish sandwich is excellent! Ask for the sauce on the side and substitute the slaw for escabeche. Healthy and tastes great!

    Go to Bandera and order their cornbread appetizer. It is huge and tastes delicious, with its jalapeno and cheese countering the sweetness perfectly.
