The winds here can be pretty strong. Make sure you wrap appropriately and secure anything that can fly away. Nothing worse than seeing your hat disappear into the distance.

Old central tube trains now in use as the overland service all the way to the end of the pier. The hovercraft is nearby or walk along the front. Nice town centre, harbour and beach.
Seafood platter is for 2 enormous. 2 fish (plaice & hake), cooked salmon, a fish pie, a whole crab, prawns (natural, garlic, spicy & Marie rose) smoked trout, fish & chips, whitebait, salad, bread.
Good options for vegetarians. For once, a pub vege bean chilli that packs a punch. Omni boyfriend enjoyed a good pork chop. Great personable staff.
Excellent museum considering it's small size. Exhibits to keep people of all ages interested. Disappointing gift shop, would like to have seen a wider selection of books.
If you can avoid the signs for "town centre" you should be able to pass through this sadly forgotten & neglected town with minimal harm!
