Places where I've dined and wined in beautiful Charm City (in not a very particular order).
1. Woodberry Kitchen
Brian Mitchell: One of the best food spots in the Baltimore area, and the price reflects that (it's high). Also, probably the best Old Fashioned I've ever had.
2. Golden West Cafe
Brian Mitchell: Fish tacos are A+, usually a wait to sit, they only split two credit cards.
3. The Brewer's Art
Brian Mitchell: $5.50 for some serious beer that's brewed on the spot. If you're just drinking go to the downstairs "dungeon" area
4. Bonaparte Breads
Brian Mitchell: Good coffee, good quiche, good pastries. Open for lunch until 4 most days.
5. The Owl Bar
Brian Mitchell: Walk through the lobby of the Belvedere, try to shake the feeling that you are in the Shining, the bar is at the back
6. On the Hill Cafe
Brian Mitchell: Essentially a MICA cafe with awesome burgers and sandwiches
7. Pitango Gelato
Brian Mitchell: Pistachio or espresso errytime
8. Kooper's Tavern
Brian Mitchell: Good burger/beer happy hour specials, I would call to check
9. Joe Squared
Brian Mitchell: Very crowded, very delicious
10. Darbar Indian Restaurant
Brian Mitchell: It will never look like anyone is in here, but don't be mislead. Chicken Tikka Masala.
11. The Daily Grind (aka The Fells Grind)
Brian Mitchell: Fairly typical coffee shop: not too fancy but just what you needed. Now with a new extension!
12. Faidley's Seafood
Brian Mitchell: Called the best crabcake in Maryland. However, in a fairly sketchy area and only open until 6 or 7.
13. Milk & Honey Market
Brian Mitchell: Paninis/sandwiches as well as a local grocery store
14. Max's Taphouse
15. Bad Decisions
16. One-Eyed Mike's
17. 1919
18. Johnny Rad's Pizzeria Tavern
19. The Food Market
