Orchestra Hall has been home to the Minnesota Orchestra since 1974. The open glass structure & whimsical blue tubes offer a warm, welcoming ambiance for all concertgoers.
The building opened in 1921, originally named the Hennepin Theater. The ceiling has a dome with 30,000 squares of aluminum leaf. The auditorium & the lobby are actually two separate structures.

At one point in time, Foshay Tower was the tallest building in Minneapolis.
Built in 1882-83, the bridge is recognized as a National Civil Engineering Landmark. In 1994 the bridge was converted into a pedestrian and bike trail & offers a panoramic view of St. Anthony Falls.
Completed in 1880, the Washburn A Mill was declared the world's largest flour mill. It was nearly destroyed by fire in 1991, and after the city cleaned the rubble, it was converted into this museum.
