Congrats on finding Florence's creepiest street! Limbo is where Dante believed unbaptized souls went; there was a cemetary here for children who died before baptism. Maybe it's slightly haunted?

It is right, Great place! Huge meat plates, service is very friendly. Drinks are free and my Grappas have been offered. A must when you like big dishes!

Very nice and tasty. The fish and spaghetti with seafood were fantastic :) a bit more expensive than other places in Florence but totally worth it.
Good pizza cooked in natural wood fire. Several fish specialties. Big and nice dehor directly on Arno river. Recommended for families.
Tripe is the daily special on Thursdays and on Fridays it's baccala' (cod fish). Their juicy bistecca alla fiorentina is justly famous but must be ordered one day in advance. International wine list.
Try the rare 1kg T-bone steak! The Gran Fritto dell'aia made of fried chicken, rabbit and veges. They don't eat meat on Fridays but substitute it with fish.
Tagliatelle with lobster is great as a main course. As a starter, tried octopus dish - too salty. Scampi is a gd starter. Don't waste your dessert allowance here :) go for biscotti or gelato elsewhere
