I love me some Union Market. It's around the block from my house which is uberly convenient. I love the ice cream shop. The best ice cream around. The Korean Taco shop is awesome as well.

Jonathan Lกันยายน 4, 2017It's far from central DC, but has ample free parking. There isn't a ton of seating if you visit one of the smaller stalls versus one of the bigger "restaurants". Great place to hang out and chill.

It's hard to go wrong with any of the constantly changing options here. DC Empanadas, Red Apron, Mason Dixie, Maketto, and the BBQ Joint are some of my favorites.
The smoked hummus at Neopol is maddeningly good and completely genius. Also keep an eye out for smoked olives and some fantastic varieties of smoked fish. Seating indoors is sparse - come planning to eat outside on a nice day! Outdoor seating turns over quickly.

Skip the Truckeroo line, there's no line to Takorean here! Also, walk around and sample from all the vendors. Don't sit down and tie yourself to one place for food.
They have everything. I especially love the fish wives. Always a great selection and fresh.
