The Union Pearson Express opened in 2015, and it's a great way to get to/from the airport, which is a bit far out. You can get on at Union Station. Train is comfortable and lets you bypass traffic.
In Terminal 1? The cheapest spot for food and drinks is waaay out at F88. If you've got time, the Canadian Bagel co. will make you an awesome breakfast sandwich and a cocktail.
Immigration/border control is now a breeze - you can clear it using machines, without ever talking to a human thanks to the Primary Inspection Kiosks the CBSA started installing from March 2017
Good airport with free WiFi, Tim Horton's and plenty of charging stations and iPads by the gates. Only downside is lack of carts past security checkpoint, so travel light.
If you want to buy maple syrup to bring back home, there’s a store close to check-in zone two that’s a little cheaper than inside in the duty free, unless you want a huge pack. Go in duty for packs.
When at a gate waiting for a flight, be sure to sit at one of the chairs with a power receptacle. Great access to charge your mobile devices while you wait for boarding.
Excelente e elegante aeroporto.
The walk to gates F84 through F99 can be quite the trek. On top of that, there is really only one place to grab food that doesn’t come from the convenience shop, The Great Canadian Bagel.
The new transborder process means you can't just walk through with your Global Entry slip. You are required to speak to an agent to be cleared. It has slowed down the process quite a bit!
Extremely cleanairport with free wifi. Looking for a VIP lounge? I would suggest Googling the lounge you're looking for on your phone. Most staff are unaware of which lounge is which. 👌
Flying to the US? Make sure to get to the airport comfortably more than an hour ahead of departure time as you will not be able to check in to your flight once the 1 hour mark arrives
Well designed &very organized from the point of dropping the rental car to point of dropping the luggage.the space of the elevator is so wide carrying too many people.
If you're tight on time for a connection, skip the long line at passport control and go down the middle. From there, follow all purple signs and lineson the ground to get you to your connection
While most North American airlines treat us like cattle, the actual airport operations are pretty smooth. Free carts, water refill stations, and lots of seating and outlets when you need it.
A pretty nice airport. Free WiFi and exceptional service from the airportstaff. Toronto Pearson International Airport is easily the best airport I've ever been privileged to go to!
The international terminal upgrades are commencing nicely. Not sure the food kiosks are still a good thing or not. High top tables and such seats are uncomfortable. It’s a cleanwell oiled airport!
In customs there’s a separate line for US & green card holders that’s sort of hidden past the long lines of other travelers. Worth asking for it after security check
Love traveling back to states from Toronto. The iPod stations are awesome, food good and staff excellent. One of the best spots to relax while waiting.
Come early if you’re headed into the US, and if you want coffee, there are Tim Hortons in the deeper gates, everyone crowds at the first Timmy’s they see
Large airport and very nice. Air Canada's gate staff and check in process is disorganized. Attendants are pretty good but no one seems to have any answers. They just kick the can down the road.
For all those people that park on the side of the road or endlessly drive in a circle waiting to pick up in arrivals - just follow the signs for CELL PHONE PARKING. It is free parking while you wait.
Be sure to have the right money for the shuttle bus to the metro or they won't let you on. I know, easier said than done when you've only just arrived in the country!
Free and fast wifi. There is a salad and juice bar in terminal 3 near the entrance to Gates B that is great to boost your PH and GET YOUR GREEN ON before a flight
Nexus card holders will breeze through security, both incoming and departing. Be sure to have it out and handy for the CBP agent at the end, else they'll get annoyed and may see it as a violation.
The continental breakfast is nice and reasonably priced. There was no loss of luggage and the flight was quite relaxing and peaceful with no complaints.
Ah, e aproveite a paisagem no caminho :)
Need headphones? The guys at the iStore actually know what they're talking about. Very solid technical knowledge of acoustics. I was surprised and impressed.
Toronto Pearson is the largest and busiest airport in Canada, handling nearly 36 million passengers in 2022. The airport is named in honour of Lester B. Pearson, who served as the 14th Prime minister of Canada and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1957 for his humanitarian work in peacekeeping.
