    Grab one of their "experience kits", from wine picnic to walking tour kit, complete with pre-loaded iPod. But, avoid 2nd floor rooms, very loud talking in hallways it's their meeting rooms.

    Location is excellent close to the Capitol and Union St Metro. Staff needs retraining tho from unhelpful front desk, to less than cordial bell staff to unsmiling maître'd.

    This is what a DC Brau looks like, because "it's the bottom of the keg." And no, they're not changing the keg, they just serve $8 dregs.

    Service is either fabulous or really stinking awful. Luckily, the fabulous outweigh the awful 10 to 1. Too bad one awful encounter can color your whole trip. Housekeeping was great, bar staff snobby.

    Nice hotel, but was surprised when automatically charged a deposit for extras from credit card after we left one in cash...
