    If Pat "I'm a bartender, not a mixologist" is working the bar pull up a chair. He makes a great drink. And try the house made spicy Ginger ale.

    A workhorse (in a good way). Makes a good drink at the bar, a solid breakfast, a small (by DC standards) dent in your wallet.

    Chesapeake Room Eggs are unbelievable. Poached egg on top of a crab cake on top of a fried green tomato. Brilliant.

    Hit or miss. We had brunch at the bar. Service was slow. Staff was polite but not welcoming. Didn't seem crazy busy, but they looked overwhelmed. Steak and oyster omelet was disappointing.
