- Derek T. Kuสิงหาคม 18, 2017Takesushi has extremely pleasant and warm service! Servers were always quick to refill my tea and the sushi chef finessed the 10 pieces of sushi artfully. Definitely coming back.

- Wailana Wongกุมภาพันธ์ 1, 2023Most of the fish is flown in from Japan and is high quality. The grilled cod which my bf and I shared was life changing. This is a homey, authentic Japanese restaurant and not fancy but so good!
- Bryant Balatbatพฤศจิกายน 8, 2016A little pricey for the neighborhood but you get quality in return. The chirashi is beautifully presented. Comes with uni. Get anything with uni.
- Fish is fresh and at very reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly!
- Bliss B hyungมีนาคม 14, 2016Super authentic. The owner has run seafood distribution business for over 30 years in NYC. No words needed to explain their food quality. Just come.
- astamiพฤศจิกายน 19, 2012Fresh sushi! While the prices are slightly high, the quality of the sushi is refreshing. Make sure to try the BBQ Eel roll and the H&L roll. Yummm....
- Angélica Hurtado Duganธันวาคม 13, 2013Everything is excellent, the food incredibly delicious, the crew suuuper nice attention. Now my favorite Japanese restaurant in Sunnyside. Just the best!
- Heyjin Kimพฤศจิกายน 17, 2013Probably one of the best sushi place in NYC. Try uni-don w/ day special sashimi. (+ the ladies are very nice like your mom.)
- Joseph Iaconaพฤศจิกายน 30, 2015Excellent sushi place with top quality dishes that you would find in the best around the city.
- Fresh fish flown in from Japan! Best and freshest selection in the five boroughs.
- HUGE portions! Great place to share meals and eat family style.
- Kitty Chingพฤศจิกายน 20, 2013This is one of my favorite sushi spot in Queens! Owned by Japanese people. :)
- Great fresh fish, much better than ariyoshi. Also great fried chicken
- Some say owner/chef Robin Kawada opened the 1st sushi restaurant in Manhattan in 1975! In addition to this Queens outpost, Kawada owns a 15-seater in Japan. Too legit to quit.
