Guruvayur (Malayalam:ഗുരുവായൂർ, Sanskrit: गुरुवायुपुरम्, Guruvāyupuram) (also written as Guruvayoor or Gurupavanapuri) is a municipal town in Thrissur District,of Kerala State in India.

Rishil Murukan M: It is probably expensive for a small town like Guruvayur but again its very clean, decent and relatively luxurious for a couple of days stay. The in house restaurant is good and decently priced.
