This central Rewe City is convenient and opens till midnight, however the selection is limited due to the space. Lines can get long especially on weekends.
Delicious local food next to the Eichbaum brewery, which of course you can get on tap. Except Wednesday you'll always have a special of the day like Schnitzel Thursday. They also offer "beeramisu"
Schnitzel is a good option, come hungry!! Prices are cheap due to the student character of the whole place. Might get crowded in the evenings but usually you'd find always a space somewhere
Excellent charcoal dishes! My taste buds were having a party! Authentic and tasty, portions are big and a good value. Ayran was delicious and I'm sure this isn't the last time I've been here

Amazing collection, I personally was most impressed by the armory, you find western and eastern pieces. The amount of samurai armor and katana was outstanding!

If you decide to go all the way up the mountain bring comfy shoes and clothes and be prepared to shoot great pics since the tourists tend to not walk the whole route. Great peaceful experience!

THE choice for early flights from Kansai airport. Friendly staff and a clean place, only 5 min from Izumisano Station. From there it takes you 10 min to the airport!

After googling many ppl recommend the outside garden and say inside is not worth the 600¥ entry fee. The pictures outside got spectacular though! So go for the park, not the castle

If you have any interest in Samurai at all: this is the place to go! I had an amazing experience there. Show and sword training sessions, you can choose the package. Not cheap but so worth the memory!
Went there after the recommendations of foursquare, couldn't agree more. Lovely quiet place to relax and check your pictures you just took from Nijō Castle.
