Also known as The Met, this museum at Central Park is home to more than 2 million works— American, European, Egyptian, and Islamic art. Buy tickets in advance to avoid long lines. Closed on Mondays.
In the "American" section, go into the bank facade take a left and go up the stairs to find the "visible storage" collection. It's like the WalMart version of The Met.
