An awesome mix of artists, food trucks, restaurants and bars, with a venue supporting a range of activities - movie screenings, DJs, musicians. Come here for lunch or dinner or a late night drink.
Huge collection of workspaces / galleries for a range of interesting Kenyan artists - I spent hours here walking from space to space. Get a pulse on the arts scene from the community board.
Don't expect to spend much time petting these orphaned elephants, but do expect to be overwhelmed with cuteness. Very close to the Nairobi Giraffe Centre and Nairobi National Park. Go.
You don't /have/ to feed the giraffe with pellets from your gritted teeth, but it does make a cute photo. An interesting and seemingly responsible chance to get up close with these gentle giants.
As tempting as it might be to drive this on your own, get a guide with a raised car so you can see more of the wildlife/landscape (and avoid getting stuck in rough patches, as several friends have!).

My favorite location of the Art Caffes. I love coming here and watching different parts of Nairobi come together and relax late in the day.
Beautiful vantage point of Westlands, decent bar food and cocktails. Great place to watch big football (soccer) games.
If you like Ethiopian food, come here and enjoy the indoor space or the outdoor garden. A lovely respite and great food.
