Best venue in the world. If you are buying tickets late, you are better off anywhere on the balcony than way back on the floor level.

It started as a church, then served as The Grand Ole Opry. Now, it’s one of the country’s most famous music venues. David Byrne with St. Vincent, The Shins and Crosby Stills and Nash are playing soon.

Get there early to pick up a Hatch Show Print at the Kerch stand on the 2nd floor. They only sell ~200 per show.

The balcony seats are actually better than floor seats as long as you are in the lower 3rd of the balcony.

The self-guided tour has some interesting stuff, but unless you're a serious devotee and want to see some artifacts of the Opry, it's not worth paying full-price for.

We attended the Nashville for Africa concert and it was fabulous. We also at before the concert at their new cafe and the food was great.

Previously known as the Grand Old Opry House, this auditorium first opened as the Union Gospel Tabernacle in 1892. It was built by Thomas Ryman & renamed in his honor after his death.

I saw Lady Antebellum play at The Ryman, I had the best time! Also, get a tour of the place! The history of this building is beyond inspiring.
