There is a Dunks by Gate 40. The line is extremely long, get there early.
Delta airlines makes you feel like a serf on the Titanic w/all their prioritizing of "sky elite" members. Just wait until 12 mins b4 takeoff to board your flight & you won't feel so abused.
This airport is a breeze. Despite BWI perhaps having cheaper fares, this airport makes up for it in saved time.
- Take a second to check out the nice architecture in some of the terminals.
Cabs in DC only take cash... But some of the friendliest cab drivers in the country!
Call it Reagan, as opposed to DCA or "National" in order to make sure people don't mistake you for someone who lives here.
Lots of construction with Airport renovations. Give yourself EXTRA time!!✈️✈️✈️
Take the outside walkway from the metro entrance at Terminal B for the fastest route to Terminal A.
Please, just refer to it as National. Reagan's over-reach in firing a generation of so traffic controllers makes naming an airport after him a sick joke. True DC residents still call it National.
Make sure you get a window seat....Nice view of the Capital and other landmarks
I have never seen the security screening lines so long. Thankfully the TSA agents moved us along quickly and when the screener saw my CPAP in my carryon, she apologized to me for having to screen it.
You can try and beat the best time in the terminal here..
When flying in sit on the left side for the best views. Or on the right when departing.
Beats IAD by far! Easy access to I395 and metro into the city. My preferred DC airport.
When it is slammed going through gates 23-34, you might not want to go in the priority line because they funnel one of the other lines into 1 tsa employee. Takes fucking forever.
Close to downtown. A bit pricier than Dulles and BWI but way more convenient.
My favorite DC area airport - almost no lines in the Pre-check lane!
The only airport to use when traveling to DC. Minutes from downtown via cab or subway.
I love airports, but not so much during the Pandemic 😳😷.

Daniel Sanchezธันวาคม 28, 2010If you are heading to downtown DC make sure you know what metro line gets you closer. Changing trains with luggage can be a hassle. Metro stations and cars are not luggage friendly.
Eat at cosi and check Grellin.org for healthy choices.
DCA > IAD, and it’s not even close. Never had a bad experience at Reagan, and that’s saying something for an airport! TSA Pre-Check comes in handy here.
Make sure you come relaxed because if TSA doesn't piss you off all of the self centered selfish people here will. Lines lines lines and more lines.
If you're flying into DCA at night be sure to sit at a window got a beautiful birds eye view of the night lights of the Nation's Capital!

Qdoba has great breakfast burrito special for $3.50 before 10 : 30am! Enjoy!

You're view will always very since they don't take off and land in the same direction each day....
The cell phone waiting area has like 15 spaces total. Just wait in front of the exit like the signs say not to.
Skip the cab line with the @TaxiMagic app. Schedule a pickup at Terminals B or C and wait for your cab at the outer road at passenger pickup. You can watch your driver arriving.

Cheryl F.ธันวาคม 18, 2012Welcome to DC! If you ever get off the plane... Be prepared to taxi for a good bit before either taking off or landing. They never seem to have enough gates and/or runways for all the flights.
#1 airport for flying in and out of Washington DC 🙌🏻
Get here early unless you have Pre Check! US Air is always Crazy!!!! ;)
