Chris Coulson: One of the oldest pubs in London. Our local. It does a great Guinness

Craig Freeman: An impressive interior, great beer on tap and very close to Bank tube. Pop in your way home...you won't regret it!

Londonist: Smashing (and rare) beer garden in the City fringes. Food is also very good. Gets way too busy on a Friday.

HISTORY UK: Opening shortly after the Great Fire, this ancient pub was regularly visited by Dr Johnson when he was taking a break from writing the first English dictionary, at his home in nearby Gough Square.

Victor Bosc: That's a cool afterwork pub.

Victor Bosc: One of the most Rock N Roll pub in Camden.

Jason O'Leary: If you're going on a Friday in summer be sure to arrive before 1 as the crowds to gather!

Eugenio Montesano: Very nice boozer just off Covent Garden.. Short on real ales tho

Philip Anderson: Great people watching venue - and a great respite from the shops - literally on the corner of the main shopping street.

Barry Heard: seat yourself outside, order at the bar, and take in the fun people watching!

James Whatley: My office local. Amazing drinking outside in the summer and super-crammed in shoulder-nudging in the winter. The staff are lovely and, if it's a Friday night, look out for me :)
