Gold/elite members don't pay for Internet and get access to club lounge with free breakfast and cheap beers at night!
They seem almost reluctant to give Marriott Gold and Platinum members their benefits. Be sure and ask about it!

Gift shop is a rip off. They don't have prices marked on items so negotiate!
