    Great place to stop halfway between Boston and Montreal. Easy access from exit 9 off 91, clean bathroom, awesome coffee, treats for the road and gifts to bring. Happy, fun, cute, employees.

    Red Hen is the best. The almond croissants are amazing, the espresso is great, and the staff is incredibly gracious. There isn't anyone doing a better job in Central Vermont...

    Great quality bakery, but the sandwich selection is woefully limited and the staff were very standoffish and not very attentive (maybe because the owners apparently give their tips to charity?)

    The only thing more ridiculously awesome than the bread is the cranberry chutney on their turkey sandwich. They really ought to sell that!

    Free wi-fi is a plus, but if you're bringing your laptop, make sure to have ample battery. Electric outlets are scarce.
