The best mexican food in the city. No joke. Yes it's a bodega. Yes it's cheap. Just bring your food next door to Drop Off for a drink while you enjoy (and get the goat if they have it!).
Our favorite restaurant in the 'hood. Amazing local American food. Kale Salad, heritage pork, and a must-have rotating dessert. Everything on the menu is good and seasonal.
A meat-and-starch lover's heaven. Local butchery, farm-style sides, and great cocktails. Rich and delicious and boozy, from brunch to late-night burgers.
Moules Frites and beer. Simple, easy and delicious. Brunch is good too, but wait an hour or two and go for the mussels instead.
Better for delivery, but a consistent neighborhood favorite. Local veggies are always a win.
Every hood has a few coffee shops. OST is the best. Their latte is something you will wake up hungover and crave.
Gus just loves it here. They're so great with the dogs, for daycare, walking or boarding.
Second best mexican food in the hood (after Zaragoza Deli, fur realz), but more upscale and sit-down-y. Resist the all-you-can-eat tacos, not worth the price. Still great food though.

Support local beer and the stores that dare to stock them. Best selection in the hood, and nicest staff too.

The best pizza in the neighborhood, and maybe even the city. Eat-in: get the octopus and any of the pizzas. Take-out: the margarita pie and brussels sprout/pancetta white pie, no sides.
I'm not into cocktails like WillMcD, but it's still a great bar. Can get crowded, but the right mix of fun and class.

Yep, it lives up to the hype: get the burger. It's like the best backyard "America" burger you've ever had. White bun, well seasoned and juicy beef, gooey cheese, caramelized onions, and dark fries.
A little expensive, but they have everything, and anything you want. A stellar asian foods market too.
