Worth checking out the annual taylor wessing photography prize and their permanent collection is interesting.
Lots of lovely portraits here. Spend a few hours admiring the paintings ; then stroll round to the National Gallery on Trafalgar Square
The Portrait Gallery Restaurant has a great little bar for a decent cocktail and a great selection of gins!
