If you don't care about toasters or how we ate in the 50's skip this place.. I found it kind of boring here, except the floor with the President's things.

We found the Kermit puppet but despite signs on the wall saying that there was a full Muppets exhibit, we couldn't find it anywhere.

Check out the American Presidency exhibit on the 3rd floor & the First Ladies exhibit on the 2nd! Both are interesting & very well done.

See the moving "HIV and AIDS 30 Years Ago" exhibit with accompanying website http://americanhistory.si.edu/hivaids. See Roger Lyons' quilt panel and read his story on the 1st Floor artifacts wall.

Check out The American Presidency: A Glorious Burden on the 3rd floor. It's very detailed, well laid out.
