Nathan: The arancini and tuna conserva are absolutely on the money. Pair them with a spritz and watch the world go by on the patio.

Nathan: Get the bone marrow, the tongue on brioche, and the pork jowl and clams. Actually just get everything. You won't be disappointed.

Nathan: Well-crafted cocktails. Try the Paper Plane and the Toronto if you're a whiskey fan.

Sujay Shah: Have the Mejadra rice for sure... It's a piece of heaven served on a platter.

Nathan: The only legit third wave coffee place in Yorkville -- and one of the best in downtown overall.

Nathan: Get the foie gras terrine with brioche toasts. So. Good.

Nathan: One of the best bowls of ramen I've had in Canada. The pork jowl lives up to the hype; it's definitely the way to go. For an extra Hokkaido twist, get an order of butter and corn for your miso ramen.

Nathan: Order the peameal bacon sandwich, add some mustard and horseradish on the side, and enjoy.

Nathan: Jell-O shots with Havana Club are a must-try.

Nathan: Wow. One of the best meals in Toronto. Especially the Muscovy Duck — the turnips and pommes Kennedy are out of this world.

Nathan: Get the premium set and you're good to go. Oh, and a couple beers.

Nathan: The cheese and meat boards are the real stars here. If you don't get them, you're doing it wrong.

Nathan: Best tapas joint in Toronto, bar none. Must get the Paella Patria.

Nathan: Best Thai restaurant in Toronto, hands down. Laap Salad and the Pad Thai are on point.

Nathan: Try to get a corner room. The view from the bathroom is incredible.

Nathan: The sushi lives up the hype. Get the Aburi sampler.

ToryBurch: The main draw for locals at this boutique 19-room hotel is Drake's Underground — a popular club for dancing and hearing live music.

Dorian Findlay: Great food, and an amazing selection of craft beers, wine, and cider.

Nathan: A chill (and spacious) place to work, meet up with friends, and relax with a pint or a whisky or a coffee or a charcuterie plate. My kind of place.

Nathan: Easily the best cocktail bar you'll find in this part of town. Versatile, too: intimate enough for date night, just ratchet enough to witness some booty clapping.

Nathan: Extensive tap selection, just like at the other location, and much more spacious.

Nathan: Even better than Pho Tien Thanh. Write your order down (the Pho Dac Biet obviously) and enjoy the best bowl of pho around.

Nathan: Brooklyn-esque vibe up in here. Great beer selection. No Amex.

Nathan: Pro tip: Tao Lin writes about this place on page 124 of Taipei. Pull it off the shelves and read that line and feel the meta.

Nathan: Get the ribs. Absolutely amazing.

Nathan: Can't go wrong with the house made sausage pizza and the carpaccio.

Nathan: So the deal in Canada is you can't get alcohol anywhere outside of these government-run liquor stores. Well, good thing then that the selection is those stores is amazing.

Nathan: Incredibly extensive beer selection. Great place to get some work done or just read a book at the bar.
