    Great hotel!!! Make sure to be a Marriott Rewards member for automatic upgraded room, walking distance to everything, including Fishermans Warf, Alvarado street and many historical sites!

    Great hotel if you plan on getting around Monterey by foot. Request a corner room on the higher floors for great views!

    Marriott is in a great location. Pretty close to everything if not walking distance a short drive. The icing on the cake we were never told about the breakfast buffet found out the day we left.

    I have been here a few times and it never gets old. They have a great location, friendly staff and located in the heart of the city.

    Jacuzzi is disappointing to say the least water not high enough the jets shot up out of the water gets your face and hair wet not relaxing especially when little kids are playing in the small area.

    Don't end up in a room near the laundry/vending machines. Otherwise pretty straightforward stay.

    Buffet is good but it's not included on the weekends for platinum member, you have to pay

    Do not order coffee its so strong and disgusting couldn't even drink it recieved room service.

    20 minuits line for breakfast is awful. Non-helpful personnel. The worst stay in US hotels ever.
