Best tequila drinks in the East Village. Order one or two and nurse them for hours. Pass on the food, though -- I've been disappointed more than once.

The chilaquiles, tamales and tuna ceviche at Mayahuel are quite tasty. They also have a wonderfully delicious cocktail menu. Definitely worth a stop either for dinner, cocktails or both.

Even if you don't like tequila, you'll love the cocktails here. My personal favorite: FB cup - refreshing, not too sweet, and a bit of a kick.

Everything here is phenomenal. Favorite spicy drink is the Hit or Miss. Favorite no-spice drink is the Old Man Miller Swizzle.

Slight detour if you like spicy, blackberry cobbler if you're looking for sweet. Pork belly and ribs are good choices, ribs are pretty spicy! Recommend the flights

Cute Mexican tiles/decor. If you like tequila/mescal, plenty of drinks to choose from. Cozy/not too loud.

The pilot punch is delishhhh.... They have a huge drink menu! Lots of variety however a limited food menu.

Cocktails are good, esp for Mezcal lovers, but the upstairs seating is uncomfortable. If you can't sit at the bar, better to head elsewhere.

Get the lobster ceviche if you like your ceviche classic. Pork belly - good not great. Fabulous cocktails. Great staff. Late night gem.

The Oaxaca Old-Fashioned is a modern classic and rightly so. Reposado tequila, mezcal, agave nectar, and Angostura bitters.

Really wanted to hate it when I walked in but despite the weird vibes and ridiculous menu the drinks were very good. Didn't hurt that the waitress was a total smokeshow either
