    Eat brunch and listen to old school music. Go with the chicken and waffles with a side of cheesy grits. You won't regret it. Check this place out on Monday nights for Happy hr drinks and good music.

    Checked out Marvins on a Monday night for their hip hop night and I wasn't disappointed. The layout of this spot is great and even with the cold temperatures outside, they still had a nice crowd.

    Don't look past the corn fritters as they are super tasty. And great spot to chill at the (small) first floor bar with your date early in the week.

    New/Improved roof deck is way too packed on the weekends; but perfect for a drink, on weekdays. For food, can't beat the chicken and waffles. REALLY wish they still had the lamb chops though..

    Cute rooftop place that could benefit from getting a better sound system. Bartenders move at sloth's pace. Pretty diverse mid twenties & up crowd.

    This is my favorite bar in all of DC. The rooftop patio is so much fun and the drinks are reasonable. Plus, the food downstairs is tasty, especially the burger. I've never had a bad time here.

    The husband says to get the blackened scallops. It's a little loud, but the service is amazing on a crazy busy night.

    Several floors with great food downstairs, dancing, mingling and a great rooftop deck with a nice selection of beers. Interesting mix of people.

    Best rooftop lounge in the city. Good beer on tap and the people that frequent this place are always interesting. When there is a good DJ, this place is perfect.

    The rooftop bar is cute and has tons of heatlamps so it's still a nice rooftop option in the winter

    Shrimp and grits were good (not yet great). Not good if you don't like your food looking at you while you eat it. Next time chicken and waffles.

    Over-rated. Chix & waffles good, but it's just fried chicken & a waffle, for $18! Mussels were weak: small, stringy, undercooked. Fries were a bit soggy. Fried oysters were really good.

    The food was subpar as the portion sizes were small for the price we paid. Also because we had a group of 6 the gratuity was included and then the service was subpar as well. Our waiter was rude.

    Food was good, overall service was ok. The waitress, Yemi, was lazy and wouldn't split the check, then was pretentious enough to add gratuity for a group of five.
